The training is appropriate for individuals and groups, and includes materials and handouts that you can use when working with people undergoing the transitions created from life losses, grief, and coping.

Walking A New Path

Explore grieving stages/styles, discuss the normal reactions during grieving process and define some effecting coping strategies.

Healing Through Art

Appropriate for youth in Foster care, out of home place or experiencing loss through death, illness, homelessness, parental deployment, incarceration, deportment, divorce or other loss/trauma.

Training Opportunities

Trauma-Informed Certification program. A 12 module series addressing trauma through research, theory, and best practices. Designed for professional working with children, families and adults.

  • Individual online classes: 2 hour courses addressing various components of trauma, grief, and loss.
  • Virtual courses designed for parents and resource parents (Kinship, Foster, Grandparents)

Fathers Speaking Out

This is a video/discussion series designed to create an environment of dialogue for men who are fathering.

Each of the six videos may be utilized individually or presented as a series. Developed for use in school settings, parent education programs, churches, Male mentoring training, Foster parent training. Three video topics are offered in English and three in Spanish.
